Welcome

Welcomes to King’s LGBT 2011/2012 – run for and by the lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans (LGBT) students of King’s College London.

If you’re new to King’s College this September – please see the ‘New to King’s LGBT?’ tab above!

Aims:
- To co-ordinate expert responsive campaigns on behalf of King’s students on LGBT issues.
- To facilitate and provide safe social spaces for LGBT students.
- To be an advice, information and support resource for LGBT students.

King’s LGBT is affiliated to King’s College London Student Union (www.kclsu.org) representing the LGBT student community of King’s.

King’s LGBT exists first and foremost to promote and protect the rights and interests of students who identify or are perceived to be LGBT. Although King’s LGBT is predominantly a campaigns group, we hold regular social events throughout the academic year including bar nights, girls’ meets, coffee and cake meets (LGBTea Parties!) and much more! We advertise the events via Facebook, so make sure you add King’s LGBT to your groups on your profile.

King’s LGBT also interacts and participates with the London LGBT Student Network, which facilitates pan-London LGBT campaigns, events and union development.
